Pawn shop software · built to replace PawnDex

The counter keeps moving, even when the internet doesn't.

Monte runs loans, buys, sales, and your firearms book on desktop, iPad, and iPhone. When the connection drops, every ticket keeps printing. When it comes back, everything syncs to every store on your account.

How it works

Cloud, counter, and phone, kept in sync

Every device works from its own encrypted local copy. Changes flow up to Monte Cloud and back down to every other device on the account. Click Offline to see Store 3 keep working through its Store Hub.

Every device in Store 3 syncs with Monte Cloud. The Store Hub, the main counter PC, keeps a live copy of the store's data in case the internet drops. Click Offline to cut the connection.

  • Store 3 · online · all devices synced with Monte Cloud
Step 1 · At the counter

Write it locally

Every ticket, sale, and bound-book entry saves to the device first, in milliseconds, whether or not you're online.

Step 2 · While offline

Sync inside the store

Devices switch to Store Mode and sync through the Store Hub over your shop's own network. Every register sees the same inventory, and ticket numbers never collide.

Step 3 · On reconnect

Sync everywhere

The hub replays its log to the cloud in order, the cloud re-checks business rules, and every other store and phone gets the update.

FAQ

Common questions

What happens when my internet goes down?

Keep working. Your main counter PC acts as the Store Hub: every register and iPad in the shop syncs through it over your local network, so everyone sees the same inventory and ticket numbers. Write loans, take payments on supported terminals, and log firearms as usual. When the internet returns, the hub sends everything to Monte Cloud in order.

Can you move my data from PawnDex?

Yes. We import customers, active and historical loans, inventory, and transaction history, then run a side-by-side check with you before cutover.

What hardware do I need?

A Windows or Mac PC, or an iPad, plus standard receipt printers, label printers, barcode scanners, and ID scanners. Card payments use Fortis P2PE terminals.

How do multiple stores work?

One account holds all your stores. Staff are assigned to stores and roles, inventory can transfer between locations, and owners see combined reporting from any device.

Is my customer data safe?

Data is encrypted on the device, in transit, and at rest. Each account is isolated from every other account, access requires multi-factor sign-in, and every change is logged.

Does the AI assistant see my customers' personal information?

No. It works on item details and photos to help identify and value merchandise, and it only answers questions about running your shop. It's an optional add-on.

Can the AI submit forms or post listings on its own?

No. The AI drafts listing descriptions and social posts and fills in forms, but every AI-filled field is highlighted until an employee accepts or edits it. Submit, Publish, and Post stay disabled until an employee confirms the review, and compliance fields like serial numbers, customer ID, and loan amounts must be confirmed one by one. Each confirmation is recorded in the audit log.

Do you support firearms sales online?

Yes. Online firearms orders ship to the buyer's FFL, and the item is locked from in-store sale while the order is in progress.
